About the Receptionist position
The Receptionist serves as the first impression of Donor Network of Arizona, creating a welcoming and professional experience for visitors, employees, vendors, and community members. This position is responsible for managing front desk operations, supporting office administration, coordinating visitor access, and maintaining a clean, organized, and hospitable environment.
More than a receptionist, this role helps create a positive workplace culture by ensuring guests feel valued, employees receive support, and day-to-day office operations run smoothly. The ideal candidate is customer-service focused, organized, proactive, and energized by helping others.
This role is best suited for someone who is professional, approachable, detail-oriented, adaptable, and passionate about creating exceptional experiences for everyone who interacts with the organization.
- Welcome visitors and create a positive first impression through friendly, professional interactions
- Greet guests, employees, vendors, and community members while providing exceptional customer service
- Manage visitor registration, badge issuance, and sign-out procedures
- Answer and route incoming phone calls in a courteous and professional manner
- Process and distribute incoming mail and packages throughout the organization
- Coordinate outgoing mail and ensure timely delivery and processing
- Maintain inventory of kitchen, beverage, and office supplies
- Order supplies and organize storage areas to support daily operations
- Respond to public inquiries and provide general information about the organization and donation
- Interact with vendors and service providers for maintenance, repairs, and office services
- Report facility-related concerns and assist with follow-up as needed
- Support departments with administrative projects and special assignments as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned in support of organizational operations
Schedule is Monday through Friday 8am - 4:30pm. No remote work.

Requirements
Minimum Education
- High School or Equivalent

Administrative skills required
- Maintain logs

Physical Demands
- Light physical effort (lift/carry up to 20 pounds)
- Mostly sedentary work
- Standing/walking
- Occasionally lifts supplies/equipment
- Occasional reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching
Working Conditions
- Excellent attendance and punctuality required
- Subject to interruptions
