The Community Outreach Specialist (COS) is responsible for developing, leading, and supporting programs and activities that promote organ, tissue, and eye donation, increase donor registrations, and build positive relationships throughout the assigned service area. The COS develops community partnerships, delivers presentations, coordinates outreach activities and events, and supports donor registration efforts. The position works with a high degree of autonomy and limited supervision.

QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or related field, or equivalent work experience. Minimum of five years of related work experience. Knowledge of and access to resources within multicultural communities, with communications, marketing, or outreach experience focused on diverse populations. Graphic design skills preferred. Valid driver's license, reliable automobile, and proof of automobile insurance. Salary range is: $58,000- $72,000/yr.

WORK HOURS: 40 hour workweek with occasional evenings, weekends, holidays, and overnight travel.
