Part-Time Clinical Recovery Technician (On-call, Overnights) Location: Wichita, KS

No prior eye bank or donation experience is required. What You'll Do Respond to cases overnight, traveling to hospitals, morgues, and funeral homes within the service area. Review donor medical histories and perform donor assessments in accordance with EBAA and FDA standards. Perform surgical recovery of corneal tissue for transplantation and medical research. Collaborate with coordinators, healthcare partners, and recovery team members throughout the donation process. Support training and mentoring efforts as you gain experience in the role. How You'll Be Challenged Overnight travel and on-call response are essential parts of the role. Cases can be emotionally sensitive, requiring professionalism and resilience. Donation services operate 24/7, including weekends and holidays. Some shifts may extend beyond the scheduled end time to ensure donors and recipients are served.
